A couple and their new puppy wanted a lush, contemporary outdoor oasis for their rooftop garden in Chelsea. Lightweight fiberglass and aluminum planters hold ornamental plantings and birch and maple trees while framing skyline views.

A cedar pergola, storage shed and fencing add warmth, privacy and shade as well as outdoor lighting.
